It's become an annual tradition to cut our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. Pike national forest is beautiful in any season, even a cloudy, foggy late autumn/winter afternoon....

I've been starting to get bored at my job at school. I need to be learning something new every day, and that hasn't been happening lately. I'm learning something new maybe once a week and that's not enough to keep me happy. So....I'm applying for the LMC job AND I've enrolled in two online courses that will count toward a masters degree in Library Information Science . While I take courses I'll be applying to the program. Wheeee! It just feels like the right thing to do.

it's really snow fun

Well, we've had three huge snowstorms since the beginning of December. It's pretty, but........we're running out of places to put the snow. And the front gutters are running over and freezing. It's a beautiful mess!
